Who writes here
Every byline on the site belongs to someone on this page, with what they cover and how they work.
- The Unpaused editorsThe house byline of Unpaused. It signs the pages no single writer owns (the about page, the editorial policy, the topic hubs), keeps the source standard every guide is held to, and logs corrections on the page they change.
- Ines KovacInes Kovac writes the practical guides on Unpaused: perimenopause, symptoms, hormone therapy, sleep, hot flushes and weight. She builds each piece from NHS and NICE pages, The Menopause Society's position statements and the studies behind them, and links every claim a reader might want to check. She says plainly what the evidence supports and where it runs out, and she never tells a reader to start or stop a medicine. Any correction is noted on the page where the error occurred.
How the writing works
Guides are written from published guidance and research: NHS condition and medicine pages, NICE guideline NG23, The Menopause Society's position statements, and the trials those bodies rely on. A guide names its source in the sentence where the fact appears, so you can open it and read the original.
Nobody here writes about their own body or treatment, and no guide tells a reader to start or stop a medicine. The bylines are the people responsible for the page and for fixing it when something is wrong. To report a mistake, use the contact page. The full rules are in our editorial policy.
